Carlos Willcuts was born in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico and now resides in Seattle, Washington. He has served for two years as a Board Member for the Seattle Chapter of the National Association of Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) and has been awarded the position as a NAHREP 10 Certified Trainer, Speaker and Coach. He is an avid reader, involved activist, and is actively looking for ways in which he can serve his community.
One of the ways he strengthens his community is through his speaking engagements for the NAHREP 10 disciplines to help others understand how to build financial wealth and prosperity. Especially in this generation, it is always essential to be financially prepared for your future and the future of your family. If there is an event or group, that would be interested in learning more about building wealth, the NAHREP 10 disciplines is one of the topics Carlos specializes in.
As one who teaches others, he is an advocate for education through his personal experiences. After receiving his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Washington State University, he has dedicated his entire career to the service of others. Notably, he has worked for many years and has gained valuable experience in both the nonprofit and corporate sectors. As an influential leader in the community, he has served in many advisory positions for various institutions, such as the Bellevue Police Department, King County Promotores Network, Bellevue School District, and Bellevue College.
In the same way Carlos became knowledgeable in both corporate and nonprofit sectors. He has now educated himself in both the lending and broker perspective to better educate those whom he serves about home ownership. He is licensed in several states, including his home state, as a Home Mortgage Originator and has become an active Real Estate Broker. This dual perspective has given him a thorough understanding of the home buying process from both the home mortgage lending and real estate broker perspective.
His relentless service has been distinguished in the community which has granted him several awards. Carlos Willcuts has been published in the Bellevue Reporter as Humanitarian of the Year 2011 and awarded the Imagine Us Award 2016 for his bold and visionary leadership in the community. Previously, he has spoken at faith groups such as Bellevue Presbyterian Church and Jubilee Reach. As a highly recognized public speaker, Carlos served as a Keynote Speaker at the annual “Boom Experience 2015” in Bellevue College in which he empowered young men through a message of race, culture, and leadership.
From these established platforms, he acknowledges the importance of creating solidarity among both men and women. He encourages ALL people to be given the opportunity to lead, grow, and optimize their strengths. He is committed to providing resources for ALL people, empowering ALL people, and seeking the best solution for an individual’s deeper need. For that reason, Willcuts strives to bring awareness to the topic of wealth building in the Hispanic community and beyond.
