In 2018, 7,877,000 Hispanics owned a home, an increase of 362,000 from 2017’s numbers. This increase equates to a Hispanic homeownership rate of 47.1 percent for 2018. Hispanics are the only demographic to have increased their rate of homeownership for the last four consecutive years. Projections are estimating that Hispanics will make up 56% of all new homeowners in the U.S. by the year 2030.
